I loved Berlin, having read so much about the battle for it during WWII (A-level in Soviet history came in handy). As for giving advice to Garb, I've heard from friends there that it's ever-changing, hence my reticence to offer my pearls of wisdom.

(apologies incidentally, I appear to have swallowed a dictionary this morning... I've already confused Jewel in another thread!)

Yes, thats right, changes don't stop, but the historical buildings, museums and so on, he was interested in, luckily remain as they were. :-)

I'm still going on a regular base to see my family, so I can catch up at least a bit.

City, i never had the germans down for being prudish, violation of human rights, take them to court, thats what a cypriot would do. :lol:
