Halil,

In your other thread you posted reports that show the most cynical approach of the Turks and the TCs, well Dentash really, during the talks in July 1974. One day they are talking about return to the legality of 1960 and the next they impose partition, keeping 34 per cent of the island.

Every day I read Sener Levent describing the system in the north. I watch interviews of TC politicians on Greek TV, where they use the words of federation while they describe outright partition.

If you want to find another word to descibe this situation go ahead. I think the one used by Sener Levent is pretty accurate, so I borrowed it.

This is what Barking council and others do to motorists cars who break the law. You no longer have any automatic right to land or Cyprus as a whole. In fact you should be fined on top of that.

Lots of people find loop holes in the law Dt and you guys have become experts in it. Do away with the morality you were just about hanging onto and bingo...We have our modern day GC. Tougher laws are needed to make sure you do not carry on abusing the law.

There's that Turkish arrogance again. The whole world is wrong, and we are the only ones that are right.

Law is wrong unless it is in our interest for the law to be right. If the law insists on being wrong then we must change the law until it is right.

You guys remind me a lot of King Louis

Thats right DT...Regress to your childhood....You didn't have far to go anyway.

It is your arrogance that needs to be checked mate. You choose to ignore all resolutions of murder and subjugation against us but then call us arrogant when we ask you to stop...Funny that.

You could have sent Turkey packing years ago by giving the rights of all TCs back since 1963.....You decided to go for broke and still you stamp your feet on the ground and ask for more.......The answer is OXI mate......We have given enough.

Kifeas and George,

Let me tell you something about this Person who wrote this article.

Firstly, like the many former articles written by our current President Talat in his Socialist days, this guy is simply asking for one thing - The Removal of the Isolation!

Re-read the last few Paragraphs of his article again and tell me he's Not requesting the EU to intervene and lift the Embargo! That's how easily the GCs can be played! They believe that the people of Northern Cyprus are so desperate that we'd sell out our republic state and go against Turkey - if you believe Serdar, then you guys are more gullible than I thought.

The parts of the article that refer to the Stolen properties and etc have only been amplified to make his case for the removal of the isolation even more believable. If he's so, so-called heartened by the so-called actions of Turkey then what the hell is he still doing there and running a business. You believe his lies, not us.

Furthermore, and like the realisation our President had to go through, the Greek Cypriots in the south accomplished the task of taking over our Turkish Cypriot properties, but in a better way! Well Done - but we are not fooled like some!

(1) In 1963-64, we were reduced to a land area of only 3% of the island.

(2) In 2008, most of the lucrative areas of our pre-owned properties were NOT TAKEN OVER, BUT BULLDOZED and made way for developments like LARNACA AIRPORT! Five Star hotel complexes and Church buildings.

(3) In a Village called KOCATI for instance (Ops! I've just given away the village I was originally born in), which was predominantly Turkish Cypriot, all of the pre-owned Turkish Cypriot properties were deliberately made to vanish in order to make way for "New Road" and a "Re-developed" INFRASTRUCTURE.

Well, here's some news for the GCs, the developments in the North are also in conjunction with NEW INFRASTRUCTURE planning by the TRNC. How much has the roads and even entire streets in London changed since 1974? Exactly. Save yourself the write-up of saying the North was occupied by Turkish Soldiers as it’s old news – think of something new.

And, it wasn't the Turkey army that made you run away, it was your fear of the Turkish army as NOT ALL Greek Cypriots moved to the South, some actually had the balls to stay, learn how to speak Turkish and live peacefully with our people in the TRNC. Most actually prefer it - why don't you speak to people like them.

What about the thousands of FORIEGN STUDENTS studying at the arguably best University on the ISLAND, The East Mediterranean University (EMU), we never see any of those complaining.

By taking this article and trying to use it as an example (poor example) in trying to make Turkey look like the agressor is old Politics, please wake up. Turkey is in Northern Cyprus to stay as we WANT THEM THERE - Period!

Finally, and obviously not least as I could list more than a thousand cases, the so-called VAROSHA area known to us as the MARAS is, and was owned by the VAKIFLAR. The land is Turkish owned, while the Greek Cypriots, as usual, decided to HIJACK the area when the Turkish Cypriots were at their most venerable and build hotels on it. That is why we DO NOT TRUST THE Administration of the Greek Cypriot Community in acting as a DOMINANT Majority in Government. That is why we can only live as Partners in a 50/50 Confederal Republic, and that is why I would ultimately prefer Partition as it's the most logical and workable work-around to this mess.

In Conclusion, your (GC) Government's handling of trying to act like a true democratic country always fails when you suddenly decide to invest heavily in Military armaments, refuse to remove the ISOLATION of Northern Cyprus's Turkish Cypriots at least in the areas of Medicine, food and agricultural products, and how the cracks of your Hatred towards the Turkish Cypriot people when you give them longer jail sentences for the same crime committed by a GC - of course that is a different case altogether, and one that the people of the TRNC have had to learn the hard way. Most of the families whose children have been given severe Prison sentences against petty crimes committed while in the South WERE of a similar mind to the guy who wrote this article.

Serdar is playing you guys like a puppet, and as usual, the GCs have fallen for it - that's how sensitive and desperate the GCs are in seeking their policy of PURE DOMINATION! Oh! Let's live together under one roof, Oh let's live in peace like the old days, Oh let's live as a newly discovered Homogeneous Cypriot Society - boy are you guys dreaming!

Before I even read the rest please start off by proving this statement.
(1) In 1963-64, we were reduced to a land area of only 3% of the island.
