Mr H. Todays Kibris newspaper refers to 'the handing over of' previously Greek Cypriot owned land to a certain category of people. What is your opinion about this? Do you think this is right during the current round of negotiations? I am mindful that some of the recipients have been waiting for their 'Kocan/title deeds' for the last 21 years. Is this delay in any way in the expectation of a decent settlement between the two sides? or is it pure inefficiency of the northern administration.

Your views would be appreciated.

I can't remember the exact details but a little while ago some GCs were complaining about not getting title deeds for over 12 years....From the "RoC".........That is supposedly without the border problems......

I know about the south. I have been trying for nearly three years and no joy. I even had to pay taxes from 1963.

u can apply to ECHR ...... like people of the Yagmuralan village .....

Kutlay Erk also opened the case against ROC for his father lost in 1964 .

More people are applying now . Also friends from Denia (denya) village are applied to ECHR about their houses which they left in 1964 like u .

god knows how the ECHR will coup with them . Tc's are claiming they are losses from 1963 and Gc's are claiming about Turkish occupation (1974)

One side is after the ROC ,other side is after the Turkey .

Latest news are coming Gc's are planing about UK as well . After this news another news came out Tc's are also planing about Greece responsibilities in Cyprus from 1963-1974 .

We will see all of it very soon .... What will be the results ?

Best result must be workable solution to Cyprus problem .

That was only my opinion! And also one, I must say, that is in parallel with those newly established European republic states due to the COMPLEXITY of Property related issues.

Watch this space and re-read my explanation after our two Presidents ultimately realise that a TWO STATE solution is the best way of resolving the Property issue of Cyprus - it would literally take decades of running a comb through each argumentative case and many court appearances if each case is viewed independently - as you may know.

And it is bullshit because you are asking people to believe that for hundreds of years people built houses, churches, hospitals, public buildings, etc, ALL OF THEM with proper title deeds from the Ottoman rulers before 1878 and with title deeds from the British administration after 1878, and while this building and land use was ghoing on EVKAF did not ever protest!
