The UN has issued a statement that the IAF had been informed that there were no terrorists at the school and the co-ordinates of the school were passed on to the murdering invaders. Something doesnt add up here. Why give co-ordinates unless you are targetting a place? Must have sounded like an invitation to shell.

.........and how many Arabs are out there in the Middle - East? Mind boggles.

The co-ordinates were given so that the Israelis knew which places NOT to bomb. The UN spokesman on the ground said that they also light up the flags outside so that there can be no mistake...

On the news yesterday the reporter said that the Israelis bombed the place because there was a two man rocket launcher team that sent off a bomb from the school. The UN themselves said that this was not true......The reporter then went on to say that it is not clear which of the two sides is telling the truth completely ignoring the UN statement..... :?

My statement 'invitation to bomb' was tongue in cheek.

To be honest I dont trust any statements made. The Zionists are there to intimidate by slaughtering the population. Period. Security my backside.

After this carnage to stop the rockets, and the rockets are still being fired, which obviously proves that the launchers were never the target. As Deniz says, the idea was to terrorize the civilians.

I am no expert on these matters, but I can't help thinking that the technology must exist to shoot down or disable these rockets. They are just a convenient excuse.

The timing of the attacks is very convenient....I acn imagine the Bush administration using the words.."Don't worry...This is the time to do it...The west is too worried about the depression to notice"....

The deliberate targeting of civilians is a crime against humanity and it is inexcusable. Even if fired upon from inside or around the building knowing that innocent civilians were sheltering inside no attack should have been made .

Do you mean Hamas attacks that target civilians for months and months by now?? How would you feel if turks were sending rockets over the border that would explode in Nicosia/Limassol/Larnaka?? If your kids won't be able to go to school because of the sirens and had to run for the shelters a few times a day?

Israeli retaliation maybe disproportional and it might not achieve the goals Israel wants to achieve. Future will show. But it was the only way to protect the innocent citizens of Israel from being targeted by Hamas terrorists. And by the way after Israeli attack on Lebanon (read Hizbalah) there are no more rockets flying over the northern border. Go figure.
