how can be someone more racist?

what??

Let me explain demetriu,

You(you and leon) childs are realy realy look like a racist.
But If what he said is true, he is one of the few people who is not racist, than I dont want to think about how racist are.

So even after join, It looks like there would be killing, and It will give harm to Turkey.

So I write We are doomed.

It looks like GC should realy realy more carefully educate his adults.
I dont know what is position at TC adults.

Leon, you have misunderstood me. Firstly might I say there really is no need for expletives, they really are not becoming. Secondly I did not say your teacher was feeding you “sh*t”, I am certain she is telling you exactly how it either was or how she perceives it to be from what she has been told. It is just that in my opinion, & it is only that, I feel that perhaps time spent relating such things would be best spent on other things perhaps a little more positive.
If you read what I wrote again you will see that I did not refer to you regarding the extremism & xenophobia and was careful to say alleged.
I am certain your teacher is respectable; I would not expect anything less. I’m certain no one doubts her respectability and I would go further to say that she probably lectures with the best of intentions.
Regarding your quote I think you have me confused with someone else, I would never have said that I want to get Cypriot citizenship because I am one. Then you ask why I think I am more Cypriot than a TC. Leon I don’t, you must obviously have me confused with someone else. I would also echo demetriou 74’s comment – do not change for anyone, continue asking your questions but I trust you would also listen as I am sure you would, that way we all get to hear both sides of the story. Just remember that I of all people would be the last to ever accuse you or anyone else of anything as I do not know you. Our paths may cross one day & if they do you will understand that it would not be in my nature.
Now I really must go as I have another trip to Cyprus to organise.

Why do you think I'm racist? So because white people forced the people of Zimbabwe to be slaves, live in poor land, and as a result years later blacks fought their land back and kicked out the whites that means that the blacks were racist towards the whites (the cause of the ill-treatment)? Think again, mate .

Michael I can understand why modern day Turks of Cyprus class themselves as Cypriots, because the invasion happened so many hundreds of years ago and they have been brought up on the island for generations and generations so they feel that it's their home-land, and I can't fault them for that, but this is still wrong in my view from what I have been told and learnt.

Lucky you! Back to Cyprus again! Do you come from Larnaka by any chance (just thinking you might know some people I do)? Tsialis hotel ring any bells?

Leon, no I am not from Larnaka I am actualy from a very small village in the Southern foothills of the pentadactylos mountains but now from a village North of Limassol. An uncle of mine in Limassol has a fair representative painting of our pre 1974 home depicting every house & building including Kafenion, school room, church, olive co-op etc.
I respect your view but we must agree to dissagree in that case. In my humble opinion there are Turkish and Greek Cypriots who in my lifetime co existed side by side & in times of hardship or harvest helped each other. I just cannot see how it can be wrong for them to be Cypriot.
I don't know about lucky me, it's not all social, my last trip to Cyprus a week or so ago left me physically & mentally drained. I was working from around 0700 to midnight & on a couple of occasions till 0100. I only got to see my youngest daughter in Paphos for a few hours & that was mostly spent in an office working.

Oh come on Leon, you are still getting on our nerves. When will you get back to your den? So Cyprus was only invaded by Ottomans but not other nations? Get a life man. Go to pubs and live your life.

But garbitsch my point is you can't just write off what happens just because it was the Ottomans who invaded :!: It still happened, it's still going on, the pain is still here...

Leon, you are UK born half Greek person. You have no idea of what happened in Cyprus. You cannot just decide which people should consider themselves Cypriot or Turkish. You accept it or not (it's up to you but still you cannot claim Moon is made up of cheese), Turks of Cyprus are Cypriots aswell...

Stop being so rude! What makes you think I don't know anything about it? I've spent hours some days reading about it from a Greek and Turkish view! I'm not saying what people should consider themselves, I'm saying how I look at it at this point in time. I can understand why you call yourself a Cypriot but I'd like to know how somebody whose ancestry is from people who invaded the country they were brought up in give themselves the right to say their nationality is that of the country invaded! I accept Turkish-Cypriot to stress the difference between youself and main-land Turks, but I don't think the single word Cypriot should be used to describe youself. It's hard to explain. I don't know how so many of you refuse that you have connections to Turkey.
