Yes Saddam was a madman but its so very hypocritical of the US to oust him seeing as they've installed dictators in other countries in the past (e.g. Chile, Pinochet) who have killed thousands of people by removing a democratically elected government.

And as for being democratically elected...please gimme a break! The shit that happened in Florida for him to get into office was disgraceful.

Its funny how any country that goes against them is part of the axis of evil! lol long live people like Chavez who stands up to these terrorsits in suits. The CIA are the worst terrorists in history...what they have done in the past is shocking.

what rock are you hiding under? iraq was all about 9-11.

and yes, as an american, i would love to see W. brought to trial as a terrorist.

Iraq was all about WMD which did not exist.

Afghanistan was all about 9/11 and destroying the backbone of the Taliban, Al Qaeda and Jamar Islamiyah.

Iraq was an illegitimate and disastrous war and George Bush needs to pay a heavy price for what he did.

But I have no idea why you guys are rushing in to support and defend the Taliban, regardless of the fact that George W Bush was a total knob and absolutely destroyed America and bought the nation to its knees.

Can you guys please let me know as to the reasons why you all sympathise with the Taliban?

That's it Paphitis.
You hit the nail on the head.

George W. Bush 'knew Guantánamo prisoners were innocent'

George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld covered up that hundreds of innocent men were sent to the Guantánamo Bay prison camp because they feared that releasing them would harm the push for war in Iraq and the broader War on Terror, according to a new document obtained by The Times.

The accusations were made by Lawrence Wilkerson, a top aide to Colin Powell, the former Republican Secretary of State, in a signed declaration to support a lawsuit filed by a Guantánamo detainee. It is the first time that such allegations have been made by a senior member of the Bush Administration.
