People have the right to…

1. Dress in any way they wish, even covered in black from tip to toe. It’s their problem not yours.

You might as well ask this to the women.Ask how they feel being covered from tip to toe and whether they are dressed so voluntarily.

2. Bathe once a month or even once a year if they wish. It’s their problem not yours.

It becomes a problem in crowded places however !

3. Pray on a little mat on the floor and face in a certain direction. It’s their problem not yours.

Yes, provided that they do not set the tones of mosque loudspeakers to the full to disturb people, particularly the old, frail and the little children. Provided that they do not exhibit their carnage of animals during Eid-Al-Adha in public areas.

4. Reject modern technology and standards and continue with old traditions. It’s their problem not yours.

Only the poor islamic masses are deprived of the modern technology and not because they reject it, but because they are unable to afford it. The rulers, the monarch do enjoy the fruits of modern technology to such extent that you look like a cavemen next to them.

5. Marry 100 wives even, if their law permits. It’s their problem not yours

Again, it is not problem for men, it is a problem for women.

6. Sit on the floor on a carpet and drink green or black tea while smoking a nargile. It’s their problem not yours.

It is not a problem at all, not even for a tea addict like me ! Cut your demagougery !

Nobody has the right to DICTATE to others HOW THEY SHOULD LIVE!

Exact, then the Holy Koran must be completely modified to meet the requirements of democracy and civilized way of living!

However, you have the right to SUGGEST new things to them if you want them to CHANGE in any of the above. In other words you should TEACH THEM if you want to see change but you do not KILL & DESTROY THEM while pretending to be “superior”… that’s just dumb and goes to show how INFERIOR you really are!

Do you understand this simple premise

Considering that global emigration is taking place from the east (mainly Muslim countries) to the west, and NOT from west to the east, that is in spite of the accumulated oil wealth of many islamic countries, I have full right to ask people not to trespass my lifestyle by bringing in their own.

Final Curtain for GR, please !

Cem, your amateur attempts to “persuade” me that everything Islam is bad and everyone else is good is a waste of time for the following reasons…

I’m fascinated by ALL religions because at the very least, their doctrines represent many centuries of man trying to reach out to something beyond the tangible, and they all do it in their unique way.

Why ruin such beautiful diversity with boring uniformity? And if we’re to have uniformity, why must it be the “American way”… the most boring and cultureless people on the planet?

Rubbish . America has contributed hugely to man's development more so in the computer technology , medical advancement , arts , films not to mention music and singing , artists such as Dinah Washington, Ella Fitzgerald , Nina Simone , Nat King Cole , Elvis , Frank Sinatra Billy Holiday , Michael Jackson and so many other great performers , and you call America boring and culturless , never heard so much crap in all my life.

All they could succeed so far was to create hostility and wars and massacres between people of different faith. Google for "Religious Wars" and see for yourself. As for reaching out to God/Allah/Lord, no religion so far could succeed in coming up with credible evidence as to whether God exists or not and whether or not there is an afterlife ?

:?: :?: :?: :?: What this has got to do with America ? Don't they have any religion there ? What about many Evangelists, Quakers, Mormons and WASP groups such as KKK and John Birch Society (though these latter are rather politically motivated) ? You are talking as if the USA has been trying to suppress all other religions with what you call an"American way" as if the latter itself were some kind of religion.

Personally, I believe there must be a superforce (God) thru my own deduction- not by using wordly scientific tools as they are useless in this context and that ultimately represents microcosmos and macrocosmos all together. What I don't believe is the utility of the intermediation of some religion. Neither agnostic nor atheist either.

Jewish Scientists you mean ! Faced with Nazi Germany's harassment, they fled to the States. Being Jew, they had lost their German citizenship already.

Leo Szilard (Hungarian Jew), Enrico Fermi (Italian but wife was Jewish) , Openheimer (US citizen), Otto Frisch, Felix Bloch, Edward Teller, Albert Einstein (German).

Sorry to disappoint you, but America STILL deserves credit for grabbing people that Germany disowned:

"If Jewish scientists had been allowed to stay in Germany, Hitler might have gotten the bomb before America". Well, perhaps the next time a prominent Greek Cypriot politician falls sick and looks for urgent attention, we should send him/her to Teheran to get a taste of their nobel-winning life-saving practices.
