Over 2000 limesticks and 33 mist nets found last month

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

How do you feel about the Ambelopoulia 'delicacy' in Cyprus?

I think they taste great.

chedda wrote:Oh yeah and i never said what to have for your tea, a real connoisseur like yourself should just stick to endangered species. I suggest pan fried Dodo followed by a pot roasted Giant Panda. As for skewerin' wild cypriuts i believe posing as a gullible home buyer should bring most of the population out of the woodwork ! Tell me are they best pickled live ?

No Panda in Cyprus is there?

And dodos live in paphos innit?

What you talk about homebuyer on this thread it about wildlife in cyprus

No you cant pickle them alive they make a mess with vinegar

You been in cyprus long time???

I am not sure if these guys are pulling your leg or not but I eat them. I have done for forty years. I also hunt in Cyprus, mostly birds and of course I also eat what I shoot.

'........between March 2008 and February 2009 a staggering 1.1 MILLION birds were shot, netted, or caught on limesticks in Cyprus.'

Warning! For those of you of a sensitive disposition this website contains images of birds stuck to limesticks.
