That may be true for half-casts like yourself...

But you’ll never know the feeling of being a full-blown Cypriot. :)

That depends on your definition of a "full-blown" Cypriot ....

According to mine, being born on Cyprus of Greek/Cypriot parentage and having RoC citizenship, I need no apologies.

I'm a full blown Cypriot ......

So, you are saying any Greek-inhabited land is bait for Turkey?

Indigenous Cyprus population is NOT Greek.

Misguided youth ...

If you feel so then you are welcome to go live in Greece ;)

Why should I just live in Greece when Cyprus has a fine indigenous Greek population which has been mixing back and forth for thousands of years (before you even 'knew' about us, little Turk!) :D

By indigenous I presume you are excluding the T/Cs .

Now you get it!

On the island since 1571 that's 438 years , when does one become indigenous I wonder .

If they were ever on track for such an honour, they blew it in 1974.

The Greek flag is not a unifying emblem on the contrary rather divisive and of course so is the Turkish flag.

The Turkish flag is foreign and divisive ... the Greek flag represents the ethnicity of the indigenous population of Cyprus and anyone who wants to eliminate that crucial cultural identity, is an enemy of the future of Cyprus.

Since Cyprus is totally independent , apart from the occupied part , we must respect its identity and its flag.

I've already said the political flag representing the independent republic of Cyprus is the RoC flag of Cyprus.

So what are you proposing then . The T/Cs are here to stay , they are not going anywhere on the other hand the Turkish Army is also here but it can go somewhere , back to Turkey . What is your method for getting the Turkish Army out of Cyprus , I know fly hundreds of Greek flags while singing the GNA and at the same time screaming out to the world that we are independent nation and all Cypriots are citizens of the ROC . !!
I was in Cyprus in 1974 , I did witness the " heroic" bullshitters carrying Greek flags , firing into the air and screaming out that Makarios is dead .
The only thing that died was thousands of innocent mostly civilian Cypriots and a third of our island.
The Greek flag is a foreign flag just as the Turkish one .

Fine! There are many other ethnicities here to stay too .... all politically united under the RoC as Cypriots .... No problem!

But the problem lies in your cowardly abandonment of a Greek ethnicity as the only way to rid the island of invading Turks ....

Think a little more heroically please, Miltiades. We have done nothing wrong being born as we are. We have every right to be ethnically Greek just as others have a right to their ethnicity. If anyone feels 'special' and does not want to a be a political and democratic Cypriot ... then they have no place on Cyprus.

As for getting rid of the Turks ... negotiations and economic pressure from the EU will do that ... not you shouting you are Cypriot and not ethnically Greek ... after all there are many ethnic Greeks in the EU. What's the problem with being ethnically Greek?

That is the stupidest thing I heard, you obviously need some urgent history lessons injected into you Oracle, especially some Anatolian and Mesopotamian history.

But then it is there to learn IF you ever decide to step out of your ignorant and blissful ethnocentric state

In over 900o posts I have never advocated that anyone should stop being either a G/C a T/C Armenian Cypriot or any other Cypriot .
I'm a G/C and have never denied it but a Cypriot is what I feel and what I'm first and foremost. I do not consider my self a Greek simply because as a G/C I'm not a Greek . I have to admit that being a Cypriot is far more ...sexy than just a plain Greek or Turk. We are the select few the superb race of the Mediterranean , you too can be one of us the TRUE CYPRIOTS.
Ethnicity is non tangible but a state of mind , being a Christian and speaking Greek doesn't necessarily mean you are. Equally applicable to T/Cs.

LONG LIVE THE NATION OF CYPRUS - TO KIPRIAKO ETHNOS !!
OUT WITH FOREIGN FLAGS - CYPRIOT FLAG FOR CYPRUS !!

So, that's your reason for abandoning ethnicity and being a purely political construct ...

As a matter of fact, if Epsilon is a Cypriot, she or her parents may most likely be among those few hundreds that left Cyprus in rush, just after 1974, due to their tight involvement with the Eoka B' and its criminal activities, and spread around Greece and other places. Better ignore the stupid woman!

Epsilon, keep away from Cyprus!!! The last time you and your likes decided to get close and involved with it, you managed to give half of it to the Turks. Any further involvement with Cyprus and not only you will manage to achieve the union of half of it with Turkey -unlike any union with Greece you have once attempted, but you will also manage to give the remaining half of it to the Turks! Please stay away, and let us alone to slowly manage and pull out the cucumber you once shuffled in our asses, and which we still keep baring for the last 35 years!
