Moron if Israel had to choose between Türkiye and south cyprus, believe me you don't have the slightest chance. After all, south cyprus is comparable to San Marino or Andorra in world politics. oh and Liechtenstein.

And yet big old turkey is getting blocked from entering the EU by a political midget? Must remember to change this image in 2012 when the Republic of Cyprus has the Presidency of the EU.

Seriously how shit is Turkey?

You had complete control of the island before the English, having conned you that they're only gonna lease it and then go one step further to claim it- you do nothing
There's a small GC majority on this island that had the audacity to claim union with Greece and nearly got it via a number of plans that Turkey approved (Acheson). We're talking about an island a stone's throw from Turkey.
This small GC majority on the island not only proves on a global stage that your "intervention" was illegal, but also that your very presence on this island is considered as an occupying force and you're attempts to recognise a small turkish republic in Cyprus had been BLOCKED every single time by this small GC community, who have taken over all official representation of the island, providing you with practically a small Greek state of the south coast of Turkey.
You're now trying to enter the EU and ONCE AGAIN, this small insignificant GC community that has lived 30 miles from your shores is making a complete mockery out of your 70 million population.

 I wouldn't be talking about political insignificance cause if we consider it on ratio of population, Cyprus has the importance of the US and Turkey that of a turtle swimming off the coast of Greenland.

idiot.

Israel warns Greece: Turkey will soon become nuke power
12:54 / 02/17/2010

Turkey soon will have its nuclear weapon, said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to his Greek counterpart George Papandreou at the unplanned meeting in Moscow on Feb. 15, Turkish Zaman reports.

According to him, if Iran designs A-bomb, it will provoke arms race in the region enabling Turkey to become a nuclear power.

“Not only Turkey but Saudi Arabia too will be willing to have their nuke weapons. I believe Greece is unindifferent to regional processes,” Netanyahu stated.

Papandreou took this warning in right earnest, particularly in terms of bilateral strategic partnership, that reinforced within last years significantly after the deterioration of Jerusalem-Ankara relations, IzRus informs.

Earlier, former NATO Secretary General George Robertson in a report made by Centre for European Reform (CER) experts outlined that U.S. nuke weapon is on the territory of Turkey, Indjirlik military base.

Authoritative Turkish sources believe that if neighboring Iran acquires nuclear arms, there will definitely be a strong demand from within Turkey for the country to acquire the same weapons capabilities.

Turkey-Israel ties seem to be going downhill.

Erdogan, don’t become Chavez

Israel, in a sharply worded response to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s latest rhetorical slam, advised him on Monday night “not to turn into another extreme leader such as Hugo Chavez.”

Turkey is the menace. It needs to be broken up into smaller managable parts.

The UK/UK need to do their dirty work again within Turkey and go for divide and rule again.

Turkey needs to be stopped NOW. Stop all arms sales, components, munitions and employ embargoes to restrict them.

They are a cancer to the world.
