Islamic crimes against humainty - another day in paradise.

Everything related to politics in Cyprus and the rest of the world.

Slightly off topic but nonetheless quite significant when one wishes to illustrate the might of the American 'War Machine', one should consider the campaign code-named 'Operation Urgent Fury' which took place on the Caribbean island of Grenada.

An island smaller and less populated than the 'Isle of Wight' which suffered the full vent and fury of the US forces.

The Yanks even had the audacity to make a film about it, I believe the objective was to 'Kick some ass'.

It would appear that (according to RELIABLE news reports) the Yanks have (and are about to further have) THEIR arses kicked in several regions where the gum-chewing GI's are no longer welcome.

I do wonder if there will be a film about it.

PS: Would anyone object and blame me if I were to slap the living daylights out of this ignorant fool called Simon? :?

Come and try it.

Rather than calling everything 'stupid' like a baby, which you constantly accuse me of being, put together a coherent argument, (if you are capable) and take it from there.

You stupid little Greek mythological fuck for a brain, if the US illegally invades and occupies a country and then installs its own puppet government does it then make sense to “train Iraqi forces to keep the peace” ???

Now get out of my sight you incompetent fool!

GR, the US wants a stable Iraqi government to listen to them and do as they say, they don't want Iraq in civil war, with troops and civilians dying everyday, and the rest of the world blaming them for the mess. What planet are you from? :?

Subsequent to the unlawful and murderous assault upon the innocent sleeping civilian population of Baghdad perpetrated by the Yanks on the occasion of their infamous 'Shock and Awe' night of terror (and the period since), one wonders just WHO you would blame for the mess you refer to ?.

The US and allies of course share a large part of the blame for the mess that followed in Iraq, I do not deny this. My point here, is that it is not in the interests of the West for this mess to continue, nor is it in the interests of the West to accept constant blame for it continuing.

Surely then, if the West CAN accept it's responsibility for those actions which have been condemned as 'Unlawful' and 'Murderous' by major powers and general populations throughout the civilised world, it makes little (or no) sense to be contemplating the escalation of conflict in the same and surrounding areas.

We, as members of the said civilised communities, would do well to recognize the evils that those in power perpetrate in order to impose their will upon other (less well militarily equipped) nations, such actions can only serve to heap shame upon us all and further alienate us from those who suffer such impositions.

Incidentally, as far as I am aware, no declaration of 'WAR' has been declared upon ANY of the regions in the fields of current conflict, therefore, (in my opinion) it is grossly unfair to refer to them as such, the term 'Battle' might be more appropriate in describing the struggles currently taking place since 'WAR' conjures up images of courage and I believe such descriptions are misplaced under the circumstances.

Actually, to step even further into the firing line, when a mighty and superior force imposes it's will upon a weaker one, I believe the term 'Cowardice' fits the pistol more appropriately.

I do wonder if we might agree on THAT small point.

IMHO.

George Galloway tries to defend Islamic extremism and fails:

Although he is a very intelligent and articulate man who did a great job at the US Senate, he has the Dispatches producer thrown off his show when he looses the argument.

He has to defend Islam because although he is a Roman Catholic, he is the British Member of Parliament for the Islamic Republic of Bethnal Green and Bow.

I did not get the impression that George Galloway lost credibility in this discussion, actually, I thought he was very tolerant of the unruly manners displayed by the interviewee who, after all, was obviously hell bent on discrediting Islam.

Such scum as he are the necessary tools of a corrupt government, they have the ability (by dwelling in the quagmires of filth which permeate the halls of power) to manipulate the dredges of humanity who are too stupid to realise that they are being used as political pawns.

One wonders what reward the interviewee was given for his performance, a night of embrace with one of the 'Noble Lords' perhaps................. well, they DO like a bit of rough you know.

The guy was just doing his job and following up on a previous Dispatches programme to see what he was going on at the Regents Park mosque.

If you saw the programme you would have known that it was actually an undercover muslim woman in a niqab (you see they do have their uses!) who took the hidden camera into the mosque and found that it was business as usual - preaching intolerance and hateful "educational" material DVDs and books in the shop.

I think GGs comparison with Christianity and Judaism was never going to win the argument, simply because they don't, in this day and age, preach hate and intolerance.
