You see, I don’t judge countries by their religion, or their customs, or their backwardness, but by their violations of international law.
In Africa, there are still tribes that go to war with spears and tare their prisoners to pieces from the arms and legs, but such are the customs of these uneducated and backward people who know no better so they are NOT bound by international law and all we can do is TEACH THEM. (not kill them)
However, I cannot say the same for countries like the US, UK, and Israel who KNOWINGLY commit hideous barbarities while portraying the “civilized” gents!
These are the REAL criminals that CANNOT be corrected and should face the full force of international law.
I too hate wars , a fact that you are fully familiar with.
Since ALL WARS are a prosecuted with sufficient ferocity by the waring parties , crimes against humanity are committed.
Having said this , someone had to stop Hitler and someone has to protect our way of life and maintain some reasonable order in the world.
We can not possibly rely on the likes of Sadam , Ahmadinejad , or Bin Laden to do it for us. The West uses force in order to protect its citizens against the extremists who are sworn enemies of the West.
