bg_turk seems to disagree with that. at least he hsa the understanding that TCs have a powerful country behind whereas Kurds are left in the dirt alone.

however you are right that the situation is not EXACTLY the same seeing as the Kurds are the majority population in certain regions whereas this was not the case with the TCs. so technically a difference is that creation of a TC state violated the human rights of GCs whereas the creation of a kurdish state would not necessarily force the removal of aboriginal inhabitans from their homeland.

Can somebody explain to me if kurds have a single unified language?
The only kurd I have met was a swedish citizen and she said she spoke turkish at home, so I could not ask her about the kurdish language.

I have heard they have really different dialects and different tribes have difficulty understanding each other. Does anybody know anything about this?
