Maybe Dr Boomers can design a few for you…

GR old lad,

I have never said TRNC had it's own currency. Myelitis made a point of saying it hadn't, to which I said "neither does the "RoC".
I have got all day, but this is getting boring....

Cyprus had her own unique currency for decades so where have you been? In fact, the mighty Cyprus pound could fetch you half of Turkey!

Anyway, since 2004 Cyprus has joined a bunch of other countries and now has a common currency with them, but still retains her own distinguishable set.

Now, what exactly is your problem besides wasting everyone’s time and assuming you’re “clever”? Image

Better go rest on a bed and put your dentures away, because on a forum you’re as interesting and as informative as a stain on a kitchen floor… Image

One of the Forum members "myelitis" (or is that a disease?) said "Yah, boo, sucks - TRNC doesn't even have its own currency", on one of the other BBs and I countered that neither did the "RoC".
He dragged the thread over here and the rest you know about.

So, having established that the RoC does indeed mint its own internationally recognised currency (the prize-winning Cyprus Euro), how precisely have you proved the forumer who said the above as being wrong? :?

You haven't! You grasped at a straw and you have sunk!

No, Cyprus hasn't minted its "own" internationally yada yada yada. It has designed a Euro coin which it has won a prize for. It may or may not be minted here, in the strictest sense of the word, but even if it is, it is still a Euro coin, COMMON to the EU, and the Euro is not Cyprus' OWN, it belongs to the EU. Geddit?

Wrong again! The Cypriot currency continues to be minted in Cyprus:

And it continues to be our money but it's recognised without bureau de change complications in other Eurozone countries ...

Now, I'm glad to see you've finally accepted that the other forumer was right and we can quit rubbing your face in it. :D

You better see Myelitis about that as he started this thread.

I accept nothing. Cyprus may mint its Euro coins in Cyprus, but it is not your Euro, it is your VERSION of the Euro. Are you saying that if Irish banknotes are printed in the UK it makes them UK currency?

@vaughanwilliams it actually took you 10 posts to make you understand 1 simple thing. But still the ego you have inside you, does not let a single GCs explain that you are wrong which makes you deny all the answers you recieve.

But yet your still trying to prove a point! Which is? God knows what....

Listen lowlife! Currency is a means of paying for goods and its authority derives from its country of origin ..... The fact it's also usable in other countries is a strength and not a weakness! You're just brainwashed by the BNP .... I know the Bank of England wishes it was in a position to join this system now!

I am never wrong, as my wife will confirm.
I have all day and it beats reading the usual blowhard shite on this forum.
The point I made is, you guys never know when you're being strung along. 8)
I guess it was just a question of who would give up first.
Now I'm going down the pub.
Cheers. :!:
