Remember the very first time I had pickled octopus, a bit like first love you never forget the first time do you? It's so fresh in my mind it could have been yesterday, even though it was decades ago.

But Uruguay has god on side. That’s all I need to know.

O God, why hast thou forsaken Uruguay?!?

It seems he was blinded by all that Orange..

Oh well, well done to Uruguay for reaching the semi's and being the last South American team! World domination has been put on hold (temporally of course) :)

Told you so!

In four years, S. American teams might get lucky, though. A European team has never won when the WC is hosted by a SA country.

I'm going to have to learn some new recipes, it's seems I'll be spending a lot more time in the kitchen in the future.

Although I bet you thought, just for a second when Uruguay equalized, that maybe they could go all the way? Then I'd be telling you so..

But that can wait another four years. As you say, Europe probably won't do as well in Brazil, history says so after all. It'll be Uruguay's time to shine and it’ll have nothing to do with luck, this World cup was just a practise. If they can inflict this much damage on the African continent then imagine what they can do at home? 8)

Damn there I go again making silly predictions, when will I ever learn?
