The black snake was introduced into cyprus many years ago , for a good reason, this snake will attack and kill the blunt nose vipor which we all know can kill by poisoning, but the black is not poisonous itself, so we should leave it alone if we come across it

I would actually have more trouble categorizing humans that kill for no reason.

Its the Blunt Nose Viper, probably the most dangerous snake in Cyprus.

You would probably not make it to the hospital. :lol:

ouch, i did not think we had them in cyprus in the wild..

i was in a petshop there where rattlesnakes they are very poisonous also, but their venom can be used for good also

I think its a viper (Turkish=Engerek). Very poisonous.

"Gufi" is the general Cypriot term for any snake, meaning "deaf".
