How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I don't like it, and I will not accept it. :D

As usual, the Greek Cypriots have it a brick wall with this Topic as they fail to realise the following:

1) The UN and EU backed the Annan Plan - a Swiss Style Sysytem similar to thiss.
2) Turkey will never accept a federal structure that dominates and then ultimately removes the TCs on the island, thus Turkey is prepared to throw their EU application in the gutter until times change.
3) The Swiss-Model of self-parliament and a loose central government is the only to achieve peace in the short term!

I say Short term as I'm sure the politics of the island of Cyprus will ultimately change when Turkey one day should become an EU member state.

Almost forgot Point 4:

4) The longer it takes for a solution to be found, the closer the TRNC moves towards Turkey and the nearer integration becomes a reality and the lesser the Turkish Cypriots remain on the island. In other words, The increase in Half Turkish, Half Turkish Cypriots will become a cemented fixture in the population of Northern Cyprus, therefore ending any possibility of a so called "Cypriot Style" Cyprus solution. Look at Britain for instance, there are No Longer any real Pure English families left, most are either Half English, Half Welsh, Half Scottish, Half Irish, Half Pakistani, Half Black (a huge amount of those!), and etc, etc. The figure is huge and this is now the reality of "Northern Cyprus". Yes, we Turkish Cypriots are now less than those Turkish integrated citizens in the TRNC. If you ask me, because I view all citizens of this world as our brothers and respect integration and the cosmopolitan society, I promote integration with Turkey or whom either decides to accept and move to the TRNC.

But the GCs, with their nationalistic outlook clearly do not, and that is where they have lost the essence and historical platform of the Cyprus issue. It's over!

Thank God for that. Will you now stop writing crap in trying to promote the failed Annan Plan all over again.

Do you see the UN/EU ever mention the AP since 2004.?

Haven't you heard, that the AP has been Dead and Buried for the last 6 years.

Don't you have any respect for the DEAD.?

Kikapu,
You appear to imply that what is written in the CF is actually good! Is it not all rubbish, fun and games? Come on man, do you really believe that what is said here is taken seriously? The Greek and Turkish Cypriots, Turkey, Greece and the UK all know their positions very well and know what the final outcome with any scenario we brew up in this Forum. The final result is obvious, where one just needs to view other nations as an example. Cyprus means nothing to many in the real world, and if anything like the Cyprus issue is an example to go by, I'd be damed if the Cyprus issue wasn't resolved on April 24th 2004. Thank you my GC Compatriots. The rest, well, I would say its just a pointless process. Wake up Get Real, sorry to disappoint you mate, but we have all lost Cyprus!

Exactly Viewpoint, if you agree with being dominated and stick to being a minority then you are a good Turk, and THEN a DEAD TURK! These people haven't changed one bit, not even their colours.

If you're planning to join us as a political instrument then don't bother because all you'd be looking for is trouble!

If and when you decide to become CITIZENS of the Republic we can talk about it!
