More bad news for Greece...

Actually, it’s bad news for all EU countries!

Albania and Bosnia Visa Rules Eased

The European Union decided on Monday to lift visa requirements next month for travelers from Albania and Bosnia who have biometric passports with a digitally recorded photograph.

The move is intended to encourage democratic reforms in the Balkan nations, but the bloc warned that restrictions would be reimposed if rules on border controls and passport security were abused. Anti-immigrant sentiment is on the rise in Europe and asylum policies are strained by an influx of refugees.

You are right to be concerned that this is bad news, mostly, for Greece.

It is precisely why Frontex has to increase its presence in Greece to assist in border controls.

In the end, I hope Frontex enlarges to become serious threat to Turkish ships bringing reinforcements to Cyprus.

Greek PM warns nations may be pushed to bankruptcy

Greece’s Prime Minister George Papandreou has warned that Germany’s tough stance on banks and bond markets sharing the pain of any euro zone country defaulting on its debts could force some economies toward bankruptcy.

Papandreou has finally woken up to European loan sharks! Pretty soon henchmen will make their way to Athens to confiscate bits and pieces of the Acropolis!
