I speak to Chomsky through email all the time, he is alright. Christians did oppress people but the thing is is that the teachings of Jesus would never condone that, whereas the teachings of Mohammed DO condone things like woman beating.

a) seeing as christianity has been polluted throughout the years for all you know jesus was a lesbian construction worker. they just kept her long hair and decided to make her a man.

b) care to quote any specific lines of mohammed that condoens such acts?

i have read this passage too, it also refers to the eating of cetainn other animals which it describes as being unclean. Judaism and i believe Islam also prohibit the eating of shellfish too. Despite this we seem to eat a lot of them.
