congatulations on your pyrric victory!! the TCs now have no choice but to totally assimilate into the main Turkish society...No more "sorry minority" status for us...Thanks to you we are not fully fledged Turks...There are some 80 million of us,and 1 Million and counting in the trnc...Just wait and see who will be a sorry minority in a not so distant future...

The remaining T/Cs do have a choice and that is to reject Turkey's plans to assimilate them into Anatolia. You have to fight for your right to survive as a community on this island. Instead of just following the blind and destructive paths your own greed, racism and corrupt leadership have led you down.

No-one said it's going to be easy and it will take courage and an acceptance that you'd be better off within the ROC/EU axis. You could start by destroying the obscenity on the Pendadaktylos mountains. Less a symbol of defiance than a sad and sorry emblem of T/C's moral degradation.

Why should we choose the GC+EU over Turkey?

The fact that you are cursing all Cypriots with a plague on their houses? It reminds me a little of Khaddafi's speech under the umbrella talking about "filty dogs". :?

I kind of agree with Hermes on this one. The TC community have a choice to make and they cannot blame the GC's on this one. At the same time if TC's achieve Enosis with Ankara we stand to loose 1/3 of our Country but that will only make us a stronger society because we will have our culture. You will become extinct and you would only have yourselves to blame.

WRONG : there ain't 50,000 TC's left on the Island. Couldn't possibly be as high as that.

45,000 TC's might see a turn out of maximum 10,000 protesting against Turkey and demilitarisation of Nicosia.

dunno wot ur talking about... 40,000 demonstrated last time... according to news report.

http://www.neurope.eu/articles/The-Cypr ... 04807.php#

Now the Turkish Cypriots have taken matters in their own hands. In a manner similar to the uprising against Turkey’s satrap Rauf Denktash from 2000-2003, 40,000 Turkish Cypriots took part in a mass rally in Nicosia on 28 January to protest wage cuts imposed on them by the UBP (National Unity Party) administration. The rally, organized by a platform of trade unions, organizations and political parties, demanded civil and labour rights and the reunification of Cyprus.
