But our administration is hell bent on appeasement and sweeping all of Turkey's crimes under the carpet.

Let me tell you something ZoC. I know someone who is doing their Political Sciences PhD on the missing people of Cyprus. They are GC, and yet will also focus on TC missing as well for fairness and balance which is the way things should be.

This student is doing their research through an Australian university and asked for collaboration with the University of Cyprus. The student was snubbed and ridiculed. One professor told the student that her subject was too controversial, and that the RoC Government doesn’t wish to highlight any negativity towards Turkey.

it doesn't suprise me in the slightest. wot an utter disgrace. cowards and appeasers. same reason they don't arrest brits for trespass when they arrive in larnaca to holiday in the north on property stolen from refugees.

Very true!

And Greece I would say is the least of our troubles. Stupidity is our biggest enemy!

I thought you said that we were all making too much of the last protest and that it would all blow over in a little while. Now you are saying that Greek Cypriots should join the protesters in the north to bring down the occupation regime!

So what is going on here?

And why would they help you secure your monopoly of the occupied territory? :?

Hermes we are discussing what the GCs can do to support their cause im evaluating from your perspective, you believe that the TCs are revolting against Turkey then surely you should be doing something to support them, isnt that what you always wanted? or do you agree with me that its no big deal and should be blown out of proportion?

A despotic regime like that of Gadaffi is comparable to Turkey’s illegal military occupation of northern Cyprus? :?

It’s all one big Greek salad in your head with extra fetta…

it's all about money and power. and people rising up against corrupt regimes who exploit them and their lands.

:? Turkey has ALREADY been convicted so you might want to remind the world of those existing decisions as opposed to negotiating sovereign territory with the perpetrator/blackmailer!

As for Gadaffi he was never an illegal occupation of Libya, so I can’t see any parallels!

Join forces with the TCs to achieve what exactly? Secure the preservation of TC grip on the occupied territory? What did that benefit us in the last 36 years other than make you cocky blackmailing the RoC?
