Due to the incompetence of our Government in blowing up our main power station, the price of electricity is to be increased by 8% (just announced by RIK) .

I think we should all refuse to pay this increase.

I think you should all shut up and pay it. And in the next elections do not vote for incompetent politicians.

The increase is supposedly temporary for only 10 months, starting from September.

The only candidate who had a proven record of competency was Papadopoulos. During his presidency Cyprus had surplusses and he was managing the Cyprus Problem in the best possible way. With Papadopoulos eliminated after the first round we had to chooce beteween two equally bad options. If Kasoulides was elected then Cyprus wouldn't have done any better. If it was up to DISY Cyprus would have been totally destroyed years ago with the acceptance of the Annan plan.
