Occupy The Buffer Zone

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The "authorities" from the Occupied Areas are getting nervous about this protest.

One of the protesters writes this morning...

There is some muscle flexing happening at the occupied zone between occupiers and police from the north who are trying to delineate into which part of the buffer zone we can manifest. If you can, come down now and increase numbers

Its going nowhere, go on VP get your thugs in there to do to them what you did to Solomou and Isaac, its been a while since you smelt blood!!!

They are just a bunch or unemlpoyed (unemployable) gypseies looking for attention. They would be better of doing the london riots, at least this way they could end up with a large plasma display . :D :D

What have you two scally-wags got against young CYs meeting up, making new friendships and protesting division... ???

... and does it really matter how they look, or how they are dressed? Wouldn't you two look even rougher than you do if you had camped out for a week...?

A good many of them by the way reh B25 have got jobs and leave the occupation to attend their work and return later... not that it matters whether people are employed or otherwise does it???

Boys and girls, it has already achieved a good deal...

For instance young CYs from both sides of the cease-fire line are meeting and talking to one another. An excellent achievement on its own.

... and it's also getting other people, people well away from the protest, once again thinking and talking things in much the same way that the #occupy protests on Wall St. in the USA and the on-going one here in the City of London have got people thinking and talking about such things as the excesses of capitalism and our banking systems. In the CY occupation in the buffer-zone the thinking and talking is primarily about an end to division... and which of us wouldn't agree with that wish????

Bill you sound so naive we have been talking for over 50 years, Cypriots from both sides of the divide are so stubborn that they will disagree on everything just to counter what the other side is saying...you must have worked this out by now. These youngsters only prove that they can co habit under bad conditions give them a few more weeks and they will be at one another throats for various reasons.
