Bambos or Bambis reh!

The proper pronunciation is Pambos (in Cyprus) and Babis (in Greece). But as any GG and CG knows (even the illiterate ones) they are both for Charalambos. Not for Georgios.

The British sold us out

Conditioned, like Pavlov's dog, we perpetuate our ignorance to the point of self destruction. The Germans, who are progressively becoming the dominant voice within the EU, have sent us a note that they also are not happy about Cyprus assuming the presidency of the EU without solution. The end is near and all we can utter is that the British, the Americans, the EU, the UN, in short the whole world, has sold us out. It cannot get more pathetic.

This is not in response to what humanist wrote on the previous page. This is in response to the dominant theory in Cyprus that our apprentice politicians are telling the ordinary folk, because the time is fast arriving when we will all see their shortcomings. The West will bear the brunt of our wrath. Too bad we lost the game, once again, as long as it's not our fault.
