So you mean that a slaughter HAD started and they put an end to it when they invaded? How many Turkish Cypriots were reportedly "slaughtered" or even attacked from the day of the coup against Makarios till Turkey invaded? Any UN or other records? How many serious clashes between Greek and Turkish Cypriot forces and how many "attacks" and "slaughters" of TCs by GCs can you list from 1967 (Kofinou incident) to the day of the invasion in 1974? The Kibrisli side has a record of each and every Kibrisli that was killed between the turbulent years. Do you have any idea what the total number is? FROM THEIR OWN RECORDS!! It is in this forum search for it, it has been discussed thoroughly.
Furthermore do you know what a genocide is?

To save you the time: The total number of Kibrislis that were killed were less than the average number of people killed in road accidents every year! A total of 700 people within 14 years!!! And again for your information during the same period there was an equal number of Kypreoi that were killed in intercommunal fighting. Add to that the number of Kypreoi killed in 1974 we are on a 5:1 ratio...
