Ratings firm Standard & Poor has downgraded its view on the Turkish economic outlook.

This drew the usual belligerent rant and predictable response directed at S&P from Mad Dog Turkish PM Erdogan who said...

“We will make you pay the price of this move by saying that we no longer recognize you as a credit rating agency,”

Gawd!... is there anywhere or anything in the World that Turkey does Recognise... ????

i would be careful if i was turkey to start a pissing contest with the credit agencies,forget greece but we can see what they can do to larger and stronger economies ie spain and italy if the put you in the crosshairs.

All along I had a hunch, why was Turkey's public PR campaign on Cyprus so organized, and effective. As GIG pointed out in another thread the British have been helping Turkey conceive and run their propaganda campaign on Cyprus since the early 50's........Now take away the Brits and probably even the Americans and we have Erdogan threatening not to recognize the S&P credit rating agency(because of a downgrade on their economic output)......the Turk mask comes off and the rest of the world is beginning to see what Turks are all about.
