The TCs will go down in history as that rare example of a community who willingly participated in their own annihilation. Even as Turkey humiliates and degrades them on a daily basis, they cling to the Turks as their lords and masters. They have formed a bond with their abuser and mistake the lack of physical violence towards them as an act of kindness. They call Turkey their "ally", their "best friend", their "saviour". In effect, they have regressed to a state of infancy and exist in a childish state of dependence. It's all just very pathetic and deeply pathological.

Suucinctly put: (Also my views on what Enosis would be for the GSC).

The only reason the Turks invaded was to safeguard their Southern coast frm Greek domination which they feared as a part of Greek megalism: Turkey does not care about the Kibrilisi, indeed their scumbag organisation the TMT has consitently worked to oppress the Kibrilisi since the 1950's, and for which people like VP thank them?

It's called the "Stockholm syndrome"!

In psychology, Stockholm syndrome is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and have positive feelings towards their captors, sometimes to the point of defending them. These feelings are generally considered irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims, who essentially mistake a lack of abuse from their captors for an act of kindness.

Stockholm syndrome can be seen as a form of traumatic bonding, which does not necessarily require a hostage scenario, but which describes "strong emotional ties that develop between two persons where one person intermittently harasses, beats, threatens, abuses, or intimidates the other."

Well, they may have been indoctrinated with a lot of propaganda too, ref : the searching for Selden videos. (actually I am very positive of it)

As a collective group, they may not know any better or they may just not have the courage to face the humility of recognizing the truth. its one continuous loop until some external force ends this reality. For now, the RoC still recognizes those TC's in the occupied areas, but things will change.
