really, read this bit you senile old fool.

In March 2013, in the course of a visit by U.S. President Barack Obama to Israel, a telephone call was arranged between Prime Minister Netanyahu and Erdogan, Turkey's prime minister at the time and now the country's president. Netanyahu apologized in the call over the deaths of the Turkish citizens on the Mavi Marmara, which had resulted in a downgrading of relations between the two countries and the expulsion of the Israeli ambassador from Ankara in September 2011.

Here Lordo, you can read the so called apology, a non apology apology more like it.

According to White House officials aboard Air Force One, Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu placed a call to his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan while closeted with Obama in a trailer on the tarmac at Ben Gurion airport in the last minutes before the president's departure for Jordan. Obama joined the call at one point.

The Israeli prime minister's office said Netanyahu "apologised to the Turkish people for any errors that could have led to the loss of life". Erdogan accepted the apology, White House officials said.

listen my dear since the incident where israel killed 9 unarmed terggish volunteers, israel has finally realised the value of terggy and is making amends. dont do a kickopoulos on us and go stupid.

Lordo, I don't know what it is that you are celebrating, because to date after 5 years, Israel has not met any of Turkey's demands, including an apology. What Israel gave Erdogan over the phone was a non apology apology because that's the best Erdogan was going to get. I know Erdogan trumpeted as a major concession from Israel for getting an apology, but it was not an apology. It was a lot of jargon that made no sense. It was just another big lie told by Erdogan. It is a second nature for Turks to lie, even when they tell the truth, it is always half-truth. When Erdogan said that he regretted the Russian jet being shot down and pilots killed and that they were upset by it, which was said on camera and in print, it was 100 times more of an apology than what Netanyahu gave Erdogan on a secret telephone call that nobody else heard, other than perhaps, Obama, stated by Erdogan, but Obama never stated it.

As for getting $20 million from Israel, just dream on. Israel offered $100,000 for each of the Turks they killed just as I predicted and that amount has not changed. Right now Erdogan's balls are in the hands of Putin and Obama and they can get Erdogan to do what ever they want. After Obama made Erdogan pull Turkish soldiers out of Iraq yelling and screaming, he is now going to make Erdogan settle with Israel on Israel's terms to drop ALL charges against the Israeli military. Erdogan will claim he got $20 million from Israel for compensation as well as easing embargo on Gaza, but it will not be the truth. I can assure you the families will not get $2 million each or they were told to lie about it that they did in fact get it. Israel will keep it's mouth shut and not spill the beans on Erdogan just so that Erdogan can save face. You are typical Turk I was telling MR-from-NG about recently, that you are a sheep and believes everything you hear or read.

That was a non apology too.

Everyone expressed condolences and sadness, but in reality everyone knew Pootin was cruising for a broozin and got a black eye.

All these things are a non apology, because both Israel and Turkey will not alter their disposition. Turkey will continue to defend its sovereignty and Israel will still maintain the blockade even if another Turkish Ship attempted to violate it.

A country can't afford to compromise on these things. Once you do compromise, then you're in a world of hurt.

Turkey was forced to make a statement by Pootin.

Absolutely, but still, it was far more of an apology that Erdogan gave to the Russians than what had Erdogan accepted from Netanyahu.

It's all diplomatic talk Kikapu to alleviate the tension and avoid additional escalations. It is all meaningless. Both the Israeli "apology" and Erdogan's "remorse" is just pure diplomatic talk.

We both know that Israel will continue to board ships headed for Gaza, even Turkish ships. We also know that the TAF will continue to engage aircraft which violate its airspace. It can't afford not to.

Even any compensation is meaningless. It doesn't mean Israel regrets its actions. If you look at all the videos, it was just a standard boarding which should have been incident free. The Israeli Soldiers were attacked by a bunch of Turkish thugs and held incredible restraint for several minutes before they started to fire. The Israelis were attacked with knives and one soldier was nearly tossed overboard.

It was literally self Defence. Everyone knows it.
