Just to confirm, the Turkish team took a 'short-cut' and flew direct to Larnaca.

Trabzonspor uses ‘shortcut’ for Greek Cyprus match

The plane carrying the Trabzonspor squad has taken an unusual route to reach the Greek Cypriot city of Limassol. Instead of traveling to Larnaca Airport via the Greek island of Rhodes, the plane changed its route to go directly to Larnaca Airport after taking off from Trabzon.

Trabzonspor takes on Greek Cyprus’ Apollon Limassol in its first game in the Europa League today, kicking off at 10:05 p.m.

The Greece-based Astra Airlines plane took off from Trabzon Airport at 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 18. After the take-off, the pilot announced that the route had been changed and that they would be flying directly to Larnaca, thanks to initiatives by the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

If the route had not changed, the Black Sea Storm would have had to take a long route to Limassol, from Trabzon to the Greek island of Rhodes, then on to Larnaca Airport, and then on to Limassol by bus.

The long route would have had to be taken due to diplomatic problems between the two countries. There are currently no direct flights from Turkey to Greek Cyprus, while passage from the Turkish Cypriot half of the island to the Greek half is also not permitted for Turkish citizens.

After watching the Greek flags instead ofr Cyprus flags I just been to the betting shop and placed a 250 euro bet on Trabzonspor! :D
If they win I shall be 300 euros in profit and will thank the Greek fşags big time :P

If they lose, you will be very happy to know - you won^t hear from me for a very long time!

I don’t blame the way you feel because the treason here is very obvious.

Greece’s chief aim has always been the destruction of the sovereignty of Cyprus so that the island will always be maintained as strife between the manufactured “Greeks” and Turkey.

The way Greece achieves this is through her sabotage of the Cypriot education system with the 100% promotion of their version of misconstrued history and the complete steam rolling of all things Cypriot.

When you’re a child that completes 12 whole years of this propaganda education you have no choice but to turn into a manufactured traitor against your country. (see Yialoser, Kurupetos, Kimon, etc)

But those who managed to escape this travesty are those that went to private English schools and had no associations with Greeks/Greece, so the contrast is very evident in our actions and thought process.

Greece had also ensured for decades that Cyprus refrain for establishing universities (hence the very late establishments just a decade ago) because they knew the moment we start to produce homegrown academics it would be the beginning of the end of their games.

Greece is indeed Cyprus' #1 ENEMY and there’s not a doubt about that.

The exact same publications and stationary are issued to the Diaspora in Australia, South Africa, US etc.
I know, I was told by the head of the Hellenic community of South Africa.

You Cypriots who did 'Greek' school overseas, you know exactly who you are
