Law on political parties and elections in Cyprus

Postby Raz_ » Thu Dec 12, 2013 11:47 am

Hi! :D

I am a French student and I have to write an essay on Cyprus and its political system.
I have some questions to ask because I need help!
First, could you explain me how you can found a party (number of member, registration, fees...) I have already found some information thanks to the law on the electoral parties of 2011.
Can you ban a political party and how? Who is responsible for it?

Then I would like to have your advice on the electoral campains. How is it organanised?

Are there measures to promote equality between men and women in the political life?

What is the voting age? I have found 21 inthe Constitution and then 18 for general election...

Please help me!!!
