I doubt that the TCs mentioned above would ever vote for him.

The reason of course is that if Sener gets elected due to the GC vote, then this could be deemed as a major victory to the RoC and Turkey's agenda dented or undermined internationally. The partitionists would be dead set against Sener.

He would have my vote if I was going to vote.

Question is, are the GCs smart enough to recognize an excellent opportunity to undermine Turkey?

Election is by proportional representation. Not sure how many votes he would need or if there have been any opinion polls...

He would need 16.6% of the valid votes to get a seat in the first allocation, then if there are 3 seats left unallocated, he would need to be in the top 3 of the groups with votes unallocated in the first bit.

He didn't appear in the two polls that have been published so far.

...it will not surprise me if VP, M, and Zan endorse this candidate (they are Cypriots, will they choose to vote?); Cypriots, people who care about Cyprus before their "Turkishess" or "Greekness" can surely identify with Levant's position. despite his political leaning, as a representative of Cypriots within the wider debate of what it is to be European, his voice will add to the efforts for new thinking, before "ourselves", toward bettering ourselves, as well as providing for Cypriots, themselves, a fresh perspective on their own internal matters.

...frankly, i think that it is essential, that this man is elected, i won't hesitate to support him where i can.

There is a difference between these two guys. Levent speaks the truth. The Charalambous dick is probably on a turkish payroll.

The difference is one speaks a truth you want to hear and believe and the other speaks a different truth that you do not, so you label him a traitor. This is also a difference between you and me. Whilst I often disagree with both and sometimes agree with both I hold a respect for both and their ability to talk the truths that their own community does not want but needs to hear.
