Mighty Australia is in the WC once again!

Btw, Australia was playing with its B or C team in most of those games due to EPL, and Champions League commitments of most of the the star players in Europe. They do not play in friendliest usually.

In fact you did not include any of the games where Australia was at full strength.

It's also a possibility that the 2022 World Cup could be stripped from Qatar and awarded to Australia because it was revealed that Qatar bribed FIFA officials to win the bid.

Australia had spent $52 million dollars on its unsuccessful bid.

The Australian Football Federation is now suing FIFA for $43 million in compensation.

Ange Posteglocou was born in Athens and raised in Australia. He played for Australia and pro Football in Greece.

He only just took over as Manager. The previous manager was sacked.

They should do fine in the World Cup. I believe they can get into the 16, but they are in the toughest group so it could be dodgy.

They have qualified for the second round before and can do it again and with their Borussia Dortmund and Lazio stars they are not an easy push over at all!

Sorry, but just one player alone is worth more than the entire Cyprus Squad.

We shall see about that because there are some pretty big name players and Australia has defeated many of a high profile Football Nation.

If they form a unit, then they can win all 3 first round games including Spain.

Have you ever wondered why Australian Players are highly sort after by the big clubs as opposed to Cypriot Players? They must be better right?

Btw, there are many Asian countries with world class football teams. Japan, South Korea and Australia for instance can beat any team. Then you have Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Egypt which are also way better than Cyprus and can beat anyone on their day. Cyprus however is ranked 142! :lol:
