A competition with Tahiti, the UAE and Canada is not a serious competition by any standards  who did you have to beat to qualify for it? Fiji?

We are in the Asian Confederation so its countries like South Korea, Japan, Algeria and so forth which are not shabby at all. All far better than Greece anyway. You will see tomorrow unfortunately!

And when they get to the Confederations Cup they have beaten many top European and South American sides.

I mean a country that has nearly won the World Cup u21s is saying to me that it is producing a lot if talent and it does that because it has a strong domestic set up and a lot of money.

It was Get Real that was poking fun saying that Cyprus could beat Australia.

I am sure the Aussies don't rate Cyprus as a serious contender or challenge which is why they don't seek friendlies with Cyprus.

:P Cyprus just returned from a friendly in Japan mate

Yes I know and you were lucky to survive that one because they are a good team.

I predict they will beat Greece 2 goals to nil.

And you need to learn the difference between a friendly and non friendly.

Australia shouldn't be in Asia at all geographically but FIFA did it because of the tv rights and money.

Australia beat Holland in 2008.

Look, we already have our fair share of playing tiny minnows so I just can't see Australia wanting to play Cyprus.

If we did, we should send in our Women's World Champion Team just to give our men a rest!
