Scotland votes to remain as part of the UK, 55% NO , 45% YES.

A good result for the UK and a good prediction by this here....young boy

Hurray the United Kingdom stays UNITED !

Common sense won over nationalism which is an outdated concept nowadays, the silent majority voted No as expected and a handsome win.

Brown fought the best campaign out of ALL of them, make him First Minister ASAP and get rid of that silly man in the SNP.

The oldest and best Union in the world showed how it can be done ....peacefully.....

Lots of T's to dot though IMO so England Wales and Northern Ireland benefits the same as Scotland will...

Now let's get out of the EU......

Interesting attitudes to the result. The English government is now following democracy (rightly) based on an overwhelming majority of 55% voting for .... enosis .... of Scotland and England.

Funny that; I recall reading how dismissive they were of the calls for enosis of a people who actually shared the same religion and core language (neither of which the Scots and English share) of some +90% of the majority natives.

Small steps, but at least the English government finally recognizes and is making amends (?) on how unfair it has been in the past.

Good luck Scotland - you are the backbone and brains of the UK. :)

(And I echo Milo in calling for the withdrawal of the UK from the EU. )

Most see a referendum but I see the seed of division firmly implanted in Scotland’s youth…

...indeed, it is now up to Great Britain to renew itself. promises were made, it will be no surprise that the other Nations which comprise the State will seek for their constituencies the same power, (through self-representation), over taxation, and spending.

...more flags, more Holidays, and people as Peoples, closer to their money, does not exclude a Britain (or a Cyprus) to exist.
