Tsukoi if you needed a clearer example of why I need to know as a Cypriot you would defend me and my community as Cypriots ahead of and before defending 'Hellenism' before I could work with you to destroy the TRNC, it would be hard to find one more suitable than the above.

You do need to get a grip with reality at times!

The example above is more likely to bake you a Lemon Cake than take a knife or gun to you. I will understand though if she is a bad cook!

...indeed, there is a distinction between "Greeks", and Greeks, as there is a distinction between "Turks" and Turks.

how incredible. the gc fighting to hand over cyprus to greece is seen as fight for democracy and tcs fighting to stop it as trying to recontrol their natives. you could have had a vote and have a civilised partition and take your part of cyprus to uranus for all i care. the tcs had no intention of joining greece under any circumstances. gig my dear how sick exactly are you.

Gig, what I object to when you say this is that you are hiding an important part of our history, promoting the ethnic-narrative above everything else. The fact is that besides the nationalists, there was a third group, the communists, who both Greek and Turk together, were fighting for a new, brighter future. The great tragedy is that communism has been discredited by the failure of various experiments in implementing it. Despite this, the communist party remains the largest party on the island. Its narrative should not be shoved to one side.

Give it up dude.

After Christofias took the island back 30 years, I don't think the populace would want to see you retards back in power any time soon!

Communism has become an irrelevance globally!

Do you self a favour and forget about the pipe dream and embrace free market and free trade at once! The world will always spin on its axis and the earth is not flat.

Communism is a FAILED experiment the world over. It's about time you lot understood this and moved on!

...Darwin should be tossed on the rubbish heap for the same reasons, therefore. Paphitis, i don't normally slag on someone, but you are full of yourself. why not read Marx, and then tell me what so called Communists did to give expression to his work? I am no Communist, but i don't feel that your ignorance on this subject does anyone any favours, and if you are astute you will realise that what Marx predicted is being realised, whether you or the so called vanguard do what you can to dismiss his work with your own interpretations.

read the link and tell me what incentive Communism could possibly provide in order for progress.

It's just an unrealistic pipe dream and corrupt as all hell because not everyone is on an equal footing in reality. The Communist Party officials for instance would not be, but they want everyone else to be. Yeh right!

It just does not work and it destroys countries. there are so many examples. The USSR is just one.

Really? When did the Turks fight against 'communism' in Cyprus? :?

And, what level of communism do you mean? The Cypriot version is akin to Atlee's Labour movement, no?

Paphitis, as i've said, if you read Karl Marx and Fredric Engels for yourself, you will come to realise that all the "vanguard", and "Leninism" is just that, not Communism, something else. we will arrive at a Communist state one day, but the overthrow of Capitalism is by entropy, as in the law of science...

...ask yourself, what comes after the end of Capitalism? does that make you evil?
