Great things like being caught by the police in his car late at night with a young immigrant bloke polishing his gear stick?

Maybe it's a chrome gear stick - high maintenance they are.

What he does in his private life is no concern to me. It's just good that a politician is taking HR very seriously for minorities which are victimized for stupid things like sexuality. He is standing up to His Beadtitide "Christomouth" Batman. Someone needs to tell that paliopedo to shut it!

I'd say that publicly screwing the Archbishop is a far greater achievement for his "gear stick" ;)

For a theologian the guy is extremely progressive and he doesn't mind to go against the grain. The "problem" with him is that he thinks a bit too much of himself. But then again, in this Banana Republic that we live, even daring to publicly say the obvious is way beyond the norm.

One thing I disagree with him (apart from the theology in general) is his belief that he knows what the "truth" is about the Christian Orthodox religion and that all those who disagree with him are just misinformed. The fact is that the religious texts can be interpreted in a billion different ways (which is why there so many variations of Christianity), so apparently there is no "right" way to interpret them (although everybody insists that their way is the right way). Therefore if his interpretation is different from the norm and what the Archbishops and Patriarchs believe, then he is by definition a heretic.

It is a pity that an intelligent person like him needs to explain right and wrong based on what was written in some books 2000 years ago. He would have been even greater if he didn't feel the need to support any of his positions with "arguments" of the type "it is right because St. Paul said so".

Now you done it! :(

Now GR is going to come and lecture us about the enormity of the universe = God.

I think I got a headache.
