Would you like to give me and all the other GC's a veto in your affairs?

If so, your inviting abuse and for them to block everything you want to do that they disagree with. Which will probably be everything.

i know you are from uranus. which part of the plan has a veto on what you want to do in your state, see no abuse. except the charluis and xerodjahole and uranusians. this is factual not abuse at all.

no, not good enough.

Its every ones business what goes on in Cyprus and there will be a single government with a single citizenship.

This is like 1960.

...why assume that there is a veto? what veto could exist if there is a Federal Government representing its Citizens as Individuals, without any further discrimination or distinction. What veto among Constituencies, that just doesn't make sense.

exactly my point.

some are confused even the most fundamentals aspects of bbf.

unless he means at the federal level. and of course it is indeed the eu way to give all equal power at the top table. little ol cyprus has the same power as the germans

only when it suits rw

some shall remain bastards till the day they die.
and die they shall
the time of reckoning is near.

How soon people forget. The provisions in Avnan included a supreme court staffed by foreigners to solve veto blockages.

Still waiting for someone to explain exactly how BBF differs from partition. Presumably the rest of you are as confused as I am on the issue.

From what I read in the papers the vital issues of territory and property are being low ranked yet again while we harp on about "governance". And we will pay for that oversight. The other side is linking territory to governance seeking a settlement in the "give and take" phase to use it to extract concessions, in short they will buy our subservience with our property. And if that is not a loud signal then you deserve what you get.

The only positive sign is that there have been several references lately to the other minorities on the island. A little late, but better late than never.
