Correction.
The references to 'YPG' above should be to 'PYD', the Democratic Union Party in Rojava.

Turkish tanks are reported to have been positioned along the border with Syria at Kilis, with their guns pointed towards DAESH-occupied territory.

I notice odd reports of Turkish citizens being arrested for crossing into or out or Syria to help DAESH and police raids on DAESH cells in Turkey. Given that DAESH has previously been able to operate unhindered in Turkey, this suggests that the Turkish regime may be removing its tacit support for this gang of thugs.

The official Turkish Anadolu Agency is reporting the arrests of DAESH suspects in English. I don't recall such events a few weeks ago, even though DAESH is known to be well organised in Turkey.

More signs that the Turkish regime is ending its tolerance of/tacit support for DAESH operations in its territory.

News of 27 dawn raids in three Turkish cities involving 20 arrests, targeting the home-grown DAESH network:

There are reports of 45 foreigners being arrested by the Turkish police over the past three days as they tried to cross over the border into Syria to join DAESH.

It is not a betrayal, it is a move in the right directions. America should pull all its forces out of the Middle East.
