FFS self defence in 2500 miles away. If you are not welcome there choose another route ffs.

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak tells Parliament the latest US-UK strikes in Houthis in Yemen were "self defence"

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/world-middle-east-68065727

The Houthis are but a minority in Yemen, who have by rebellion taken the Capital, and thus created their own regime. Given that the attacks are threatening all ship traffic, (except perhaps, the Chinese), and given the importance of this trade to the rest of the world, it requires actions like those we are witnessing from a broad range of players, beside the coalition, of India, and Japan, as well as France to site a few.

...do you expect such Naval power to be withheld from the Mariners whose life at sea is dangerous enough? Indeed, if the Houthis don't do their homework and continue to shoot (defective) missiles at ships American or otherwise they will find such behaviour will draw even more and conclusive Naval power against them. (They are lucky actually, that all they have done so far is make themselves a nuisance.) Should they show themselves to be a more refined adversary, demonstrating a selectivity of targets and a skilled execution which makes for a very clear diplomatic message (against "Jews"), they may find from such limited strikes a willingness from these adversaries to engage with them alternatively, in conversation.

...let's not forget, the 17% of the world's trade that crosses this straight also represents about half of the world's container traffic; as such it is "self defence", and it has nothing to do with the state of Gaza.

Disagree RW. There no democracy in a single Middle East country. It is all controlled by America. Shites are a majority in most of these countries but are not allowed anywhere near power by the Yanks. The west can go round the Cape if they wished. In any case you talk as if they have only started bombing in the last few months. The SwineWest have been bombing Yemen for nine years.

Self defence my left foot. It was as self defence as when the Roans sent their soldiers to anyolite the Germanic people with self defence too. Double standards pure and simple and to accept the bullshit the Swine West pushes our each day only turn the uniformed into mushrooms.

But war is changing. Just a few people can reek havoc to the economies of the Swine West till they behave. Especially since the Drones entered warfare. The west cannot win.

This is nice ain't it?

Israel’s Channel 12 obtained what appeared to be recordings of Mr Netanyahu made during a behind-closed-doors meeting with family members of the hostages earlier this week. In the clip, it reported, he can be heard saying: “You don’t hear me thanking Qatar. Have you noticed? I don’t thank Qatar. Why? Because for me, Qatar is essentially no different from the UN, it is essentially no different from the Red Cross, and in a way it is even ... more problematic.” Israel has maintained for years that international organisations such as the UN are biased against it.

There you have it folks. UN is dead and so is International Law. Every man for himself from now on.

It will mean civilians everywhere are now in danger.

The court did not agree to South Africa’s request for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza – something that will disappoint the South Africans and Palestinians alike.

But by large majorities the court’s 17 judges ruled, among other measures, that Israel should do everything in its power to avoid killing Palestinians, causing them serious bodily or mental harm or imposing measures intended to prevent Palestinian women from giving birth.

What the fuck does this fuckin mean?

If the HAMAS held hostages are being treaded humanely and are not mistreated ............ is HAMAS holding them any worse the the 9,000 Palestinian men, women and children 'hostages' that the Israeli's hold in prison, with many of them held without trial ? Is it any worse than the Zionists having held Palestinians in Gaza/West bank hostages for decades?

What would happen IF HAMAS handed all the hostages over as a humanitarian gesture ? Do you honestly believe the ZIONIST would reciprocate?
Simple common sense says the ZIONISTS would exterminate every thing that moved ........ a GENOIDE ...... no matter what the ICJ/UN or any other nation thought. The State of Israel is a rogue Nation, it only complies with legislation that suits it and then pleads 'ANTISEMITISM' when it is criticised for all its breaches of humanitarian and International rules and requirements.

This conflict is not 'rules based' nor is it a level playing field! :x

...frankly, i did not expect a decision so quickly (for War Crimes). And frankly, i have not read the decision myself.

From such an august Court i would expect to learn something (but for the fact that so little time was applied to it, it seems more like an Injunction).

...i suppose we will see in the next few days how it will be handled, what it treated or what the details may have to say.

Who were the one or two cunts of the judges in the ICJ who had voted against the majority’s rulings on Israels’ genocidal attacks on the Palestinians?

Fucking Zionist Nazis lovers, whomever they were!

This is a good interview on the rulings against Israel by the ICJ.
