I later explained it but you must have missed it... in my current financial situation I can only afford to pay one month rent of a house that has 450 euros/month rental value... and in this one month time i think i could find a job in south or i might get financial help form government(as a loan or welfare benefit) or a bank or from a friend during the legal process... or even if I'd have to work in north and reside in south just to complete that 6 months residence requirement to reclaim our properties in south.

...i salute you insan.

It is hard to be Cypriot. It is too easy to pick a side, because there is a side to pick against. It is much harder to live with Grace, knowing that it is not one side or the other that is right. Right is Right.

And Rights are Rights, there are some that are Universal, this is an example of one of them.

...find the job, then find the apt. Oddly, the word Mufti, comes to mind, there must be one, he (i may be assumimg too much, but i assume there are no female Muftis) may help you.

...if i may be so bold, what kind of work are you looking for?

... and if i couldn't pay the rent for the next month, i'd have to leave the house to the landlord and go my way... it's that easy...

Well, in that case things sound a bit difficult to me as I am sure landlords will also want a deposit.

Thanks for your understanding and always cool attitude repulsewarrior... under the current circumstances that Cyprus has %16 unemployment rate, I have no choice but accepting any job offer I'm able to do... though I'd prefer being a sheep shepherd nad general assistant of farming works...

Living in a room in someone else's property is no proof you lived here. You need as a min the electricity bill to have been on your name for the period and they do check consumption.

Sorry, b25; I've misunderstood you... you are talking about that 6 months resident requirement... whatever is needed to prove that i resided in south; I'm ready to do... it's what the government asks me to do anyway... so they must have some ways to check it...

Yes, to prove you were living in the RoC you will need the electricity bill in your name for that min period before you apply. How else can you prove it?

I mentioned it because lord was offering you rooms in a friends house which is no good.

You were offered GC homes and you rejected the offer? And why you keep talking about uk pounds?

...i might suggest an enterprise that is not immediate but forward thinking; there must be contacts you have in the north with others who are Cypriot, if links could be facilitated in the south with other Cypriots, as an agent, a broker, something in the agricultural field, a service can be established, you having clients, filling this need. There are the orange groves in Limassol, my auntie worked there for many years, she was good to them, because she did what she wanted, work hard farming, and they were good to her, quite a change in life. I encourage anyone in life, who is seeking a position, to learn about International Trade. What with the TPP, and the agreements Europe has with North America, there is a great deal of potential. Things like nuts from Persian countries do not exist here anymore in any abundance, that too will change soon enough...
