If it's the end of turkey believe me it will take you down before she goes . Don't forget they have 80 000 Turkish soldiers in Cyprus so that is enough to wipe your side out whilst she is at war with Russia .

Turkey took a pawn when she shouldn't be playing. now wait for Russia's move. :o

my bet is that those Turkish soldiers in Cyprus will end up moving out to save Turkeys ass elsewhere.

But how long will they be waiting for?

Can they watch War and Peace?

They can watch the same sitcoms where you have been getting your news from lately.

What's that? BBC or CNN?

Everyone in the West is celebrating!

Don't worry mate!

I know there are thousands of military big wigs in multiple countries popping the champagne bottles.

Just think of the celebrations at the Royal Australian Navy who had a big confrontation with the Russians a few months ago. :D

And then the Brits, Germans and Dutch are probably creaming their uniforms.

Are they celebrating the possibility of going to war to defend Turkic duplicity and folly. I dont think so!

Like, did they win something here to celebrate anything? :?

Of course if it's necessary.

But we all know that Pootin doesn't have the balls to go to war with us, so we won't be losing too much sleep tonight! :D

And yes mate, we are winning loads. We are even closer to regime change now. And we got DAESH on the back foot, all we need is the troops to finish the job.

Since the Paris terrorist attacks the fight against Isis became one involving all nations active in the region. The question here is this. Did the Russian aircraft incursion lasting seconds present a threat to Turkey ? Was Turkey driven by a need to protect its airspace or by a need to see the alliance of active nations in combat against Isis weakened ? Would Turkey have shot down a British or a French plane given the same circumstances.

The downing of the Russian aircraft will no doubt cause more than just a hiccup in the fight against Isis who no doubt, along with the naïve Paphitis, will be celebrating the event.

Had the incursion been a long lasting one in clearly identified Turkish airspace one could understand the Turkish action, in this instance is questionable as to whether the aircraft was in Turkish or Syrian airspace and lasted for a few seconds.

The motives behind the shoot down are more than the eye sees. Time will show, One hopes that this incident does not diminish efforts to defeat Isis and does not escalate further.

A few points here. The Airspace that the Russian Jet penetrated is clearly identifiable as Turkish.

Also, there is no scope under law which stipulates that Turkey has to do any kind of Risk Assessment which no doubt would have included the number of incursions. The Russians violated Turkish Airspace and the jet got shot down.

Furthermore, when Russia is a bombing the Turkmen's, or FSA, there is no alliance as far as the coalition are concerned. So don't ever fool yourself. There is NOTHING to suggest we are allies with Russia. It will NEVER happen. We have too many axes to grind and too many scores to settle.

We only have a war against DAESH, not every single group or minority who oppose Assad.

Russia was the biggest hiccup to the war against DAESH, but now they have had a rather rude awakening.

:D

I look forward to more Russian and Syrian Jets being shot down. I think the Americans should have another accident! Another Oopsey moment!
