Meanwhile, for the adults, the international campaign to secure the release of the two journalists imprisoned for their role in exposing the arming of jihadis in Syria by the Turkish intelligence organisation grows by the day.

The International Press Institute (IPI) today joined Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and eight other leading media freedom watchdogs, and some 29 public figures from around the globe, in calling on Turkish authorities to immediately release Cumhuriyet Editor-in-Chief Can Dündar and the paper’s Ankara bureau chief, Erdem Gül.

Being gay is not a mental condition nor a choice. It's something you are born with.

The US Ambassador to Turkey, John Bass, has visited Cumhuriyet newspaper, where he expressed his concern at the detention of journalists Can Dündar and Erdem Gül.

Being gay is not by choice Kuru. Why don't you grow up and leave people alone? I have a gay person in my family and he is the most loved and respected so just stop it, please.
