Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic Turkey!

Postby GreekIslandGirl » Sat Nov 28, 2015 10:33 pm

Pathetic Erdoğan the Turkish peasant, voiced regret over the incident, saying his country was “truly saddened” by the event and wished it had not happened.

“We are truly saddened by this incident,” Erdoğan said. “We wish it hadn’t happened as such, but unfortunately such a thing has happened. I hope that something like this doesn’t occur again.”

Pathetic Erdoğan said neither country should allow the incident to escalate and take a destructive form that would lead to “saddening consequences”.

Pathetic Erdogan begged for a meeting with Pretty Putin on the sidelines of the climate conference in Paris next week, saying it would be an opportunity to overcome tensions. Please, pretty, please! :?

“If we allow our sovereign rights to be violated ... like we did against Cyprus  ..... then the territory would no longer be our territory,” he said.

Turkey’s prime mouse Davutoğlu also said he hoped a meeting between Patheitc Erdoğan and Pretty Please Putin would take place in Paris. “In such situations it is important to keep the channels of communication open,” please, Pretty Putin, please  he said.

Failing all this pleading, Turks should delay travel plans until “the situation becomes clear”.

Only slightly adapted.

Russia is no longer interested and I know that because Putin has asked Erdo to publicly apologise knowing too well that Erdo's pride will never allow him to do so, so he's pressing ahead with sanctions...

Pathetic Turkey - sinking ever lower ......

At Emre’s boat shop in central Izmir, one of Turkey’s main ports, you can’t turn around without bumping into a pile of inflatable rubber boats. On this day there are 16 stacked in beige boxes, all numbered with the same inscrutable code, SK-800PLY, and all newly delivered from China. If Emre’s maths is right, all of them will be discarded on a Greek beach within a couple of days. For Emre’s shop is where you can buy boats that take refugees to Europe – and where they are still being sold at a rate of nearly a dozen a day.

Despite the worsening weather, another 125,000 asylum seekers have arrived in Greece from Turkey in November – about four times as many as during the whole of 2014. And the biggest proportion probably passed through this quarter of Izmir.

Smuggling happens in plain sight here – leave Emre’s shop, turn right up Fevzi Paşa boulevard, one of Izmir’s main drags, and the signs of the smuggling economy are everywhere. “On the left are the hotels where the smugglers house their clients,” says Abu Khalil, a smuggler who wanders down the street with the Guardian. “And on the right are the insurance shops.” This is where the passengers deposit their fees, which are then released to the smugglers when word comes that they have reached the Greek coast.

The blatant nature of the smuggling trade in Izmir has led the perception that Turkey turns a blind eye to illegal departures from its western shoreline. Turkey not only bars most Syrians from legal work, giving them little incentive to remain in the country, but officials appear to do little to stop their movement.

The latter city is no stranger to refugees. In 1922, thousands of Izmir’s Greek residents fled to the harbour, after Turkish troops re-took the previously Greek-held city and a week-long fire burnt much of it down. For days, western ships moored just off the shore refused to rescue them.

At the end of all this, the lead smuggler himself is left with at least $13,000. If he undercuts his brokers and also squeezes onboard another 10 passengers, he could end up doubling his profit. And so many cram in 50 passengers rather than the promised 40, and send the boats out without enough fuel. Migrants who get cold feet on the beach sometimes report that they are forced onboard at gunpoint.

Please have a look at the whole article to get a sense of how disgusting these pathetic Turkish smugglers are ...

" Turkish businessmen struck lucrative deals with Isis oil smugglers, adding at least $10m (£6.6m) per week to the terror group’s coffers, and replacing the Syrian regime as its main client. Over the past two years several senior Isis members have told the Guardian that Turkey preferred to stay out of their way and rarely tackled them directly."

We have a few amongst us, a Paphian imposter, who is in full support of the exact same goals as Turkey. Yet he, the naïve imposter, has convinced some of his ...phantom knowledge of evens in the ME.

The West got it WRONG !

This might be the first time I actually agree with you . Erdogan is a power crazed dictator . He will drag everyone into conflict . I can't understand why some one in Turkey for the sake of peace does not assassinate him . Putin has the same mentality as him. The EU do not trust either leaders as they are unpredictable and untrustworthy. These 2 men will single handedly drag us into doom. Unless the people of Russia and Turkey rise up to this dictatorship. They are going back into the Cold War .

OK - I agree partly and sympathize with those Turks that are stuck under his dictatorship.

However, you have misread Putin and are mistaken in even commenting about Putin in the same post as Erdogan. Putin is the man to free Turkey from this dictator - if the West would let him!

Do not allow your hatred for turks make you sympathise with Putin . He is far more dangerous than erdogan . Have you see what he done in Ukraine hence why EU have emposed economic embargoes on Russia . They are both power crazed maniacs . I am suprised you complimented this thug . You really hate turks so much that I actually feel I need to not have any communication with you because I don't like to mix with people that just hate people for the race they are . You and I are from a different breed of humanity. We are both from a totally different worlds where I have a open mind and judge every person on their individual merit and you judge everyone as one which means you also see me or anyone that has a turkish background the same . Would you sit on the same table as me and face to face have a chat ?
