Four brave young people from an organisation called New Democratic Youth (YDG) staged a brief demonstration on the terrace of a hamburger restaurant in the Western Turkish city of Izmir, displaying a banner reading “Let’s increase the resistance to the slaughter in Sur, Cizre and Silopi.” Needless to say, it wasn’t long before they were arrested.
