Nobody with even half a brain could deny that there has been a massive swing from the US being the one-and-only super power, to having to share the title with Russia. In just five months Russia (Putin) has got the warring sides to the negotiating table, has routed the terrorists and is dictating events on the Ground in Syria ..... in short Putin is calling the tune and the US has no option but to dance to it. I give Putin credit for not rubbing their noses in it. Unlike the US/NATO you never hear Putin or Lavrov issuing threats, they just caution and then act. :o

Maybe this has something to do with why the Arabs (and much of the rest of the World) no longer places any faith in the US.

Murder Is Washington’s Foreign Policy - By Paul Craig Roberts

Washington has a long history of massacring people, for example, the destruction of the Plains Indians by the Union war criminals Sherman and Sheridan and the atomic bombs dropped on Japanese civilian populations, but Washington has progressed from periodic massacres to fulltime massacring. From the Clinton regime forward, massacre of civilians has become a defining characteristic of the United States of America.

Washington is responsible for the destruction of Yugoslavia and Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, and part of Syria. Washington has enabled Saudi Arabia’s attack on Yemen, Ukraine’s attack on its former Russian provinces, and Israel’s destruction of Palestine and the Palestinian people.

The American state’s murderous rampage through the Middle East and North Africa was enabled by the Europeans who provided diplomatic and military cover for Washington’s crimes. Today the Europeans are suffering the consequences as they are over-run by millions of refugees from Washington’s wars. The German women who are raped by the refugees can blame their chancellor, a Washington puppet, for enabling the carnage from which refugees flee to Europe.

Unfortunately you cannot trust the BBC anymore. My wife is Polish and as a young person living in a Soviet occupied state she relied upon the BBC for the truth. How many still believe that?

http://www.globalresearch.ca/camerons-moderate-rebels-use-yellow-phosphorus-on-kurds-in-aleppo-fake-evidence-by-the-bbc/5513329

On RT yesterday they showed a video of the ‘moderate’ (anti-Assad) rebels firing what was described as ‘Yellow Phosphorous’ into civilian areas. The video was taken by Kurdish forces and was not verified, but a cloud of yellow gas was clearly seen drifting across a couple of blocks of buildings in Aleppo. Even though this was a clear breach of International Law and the cease fire, it demonstrates the rebels had crossed Obama’s US coalitions ‘red line’ ! Thankfully the Russians and the SAA were not drawn into the trap of retaliating.

When a similar incident happened in a place called Ghouta in September 2013, without a shred of evidence to support the claim the US coalition put the blame squarely on Assad’s shoulders and were planning a second ‘shock-and-awe’ campaign against Assad. It was only the diplomatic skills of the Russian leadership that prevented another IRAQ debacle!

What did we see reported about this latest incident on the BBC .... or any Western news outlet or TV station ...... NOTHING.

From RT:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iicvo-zKpIs

Is it just a made up propaganda story? If so what purpose did it serve if Assad and the Russians did not use it as a justified reason to attack the rebels that fired it ...... just as the US was prepared to do after the Ghouta attack with far less 'evidence'? :?

The silence from the MSM over events in Syria over the last 10 days is deafening. The Russians have taken enormous steps to prevent any retaliatory action from the SAA to any of the dozens of breaches of the cease fire, ALL of which have been initiated by the ‘moderate’ rebels. This is what is going to make the cease fire a success for Putin, much to the chagrin of the US coalition forces who are just itching for Russia to fall into the traps they are setting. Putin it seems has outsmarted the US again!
