Like I said, this is part of Obama's scorched earth policy as he (unpatriotically imo) tries to leave the country in as dire a political situation as he can.

On the day it was announced that there was NO EVIDENCE of hacking, what does he do? He randomly removes people.

US recounts find no evidence of hacking in Trump win but reveal vulnerabilities
No evidence of attack’ in full or partial state recounts, but worries persist that voting machine companies could be ‘central’ targets of future breaches

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/201 ... g-machines

However, seems that the Russians are on to Obama's tactics and ignoring him:

Lavrov said the US could be invited [re. Syria peace] to join after Donald Trump became president next month, in order that the countries could work “in a friendly and collective manner”.

Peace to all for 2017.

Obama is acting just like a spoilt bully that has just been put in his place!

GIG's I think you have just about got it right.

What an embarrassing exhibition of spite carried out by a President that is now regarded as a lame duck and is throwing his toys out of the pram in a temper tantrum? It makes the US look like a third world dictatorship .... whose leader just got deposed by the people.

Putin has said they will take action ...... but after the 'Lame Duck' has gone!

Remember Paphitis ........ there could be a price to pay, as Russia has the upper hand! What will the US do if Turkey throws them out of their bases, just like Duterte is doing in the Philipines?

It's not! Russia had interfered in American Politics. It probably didn't alter the result, but interfering in another countries democratic process is very dangerous and the USA rightfully expelled Russian Diplomats as spies.

It is America's right to defend itself and its democratic process.

There really is no other option.

Being a genuine democracy (unlike Russia) you are also prone to attack.

there will not be any working together with pootin by Trump. Not when he sees the intelligence the CIA has gathered. And the USA will not abandon its allies either because that would be like cutting its own nose off and shooting itself in the foot.

You got it the wrong way around.

It was Russia that interfered into America's internal affairs and democratic processes.

USA has a right to expel these spies working on its territory in response and that is what it did.

I am hoping things deteriorate further. completely anticipating and hoping Pootin gives the US Embassy in Russia its marching orders before the inauguration of Trump. 8)

There is no reason for a Russian Embassy (Spy base) in Canberra either. Shut them down and give them 72 hours to leave too.

No reason for Australia to be having an Embassy in the scummy country of Pootana Land.

Russia FUCK OFF YOU BITCH! 8)

Oh if only I was PM of Australia.

Sometime back you asked me a question about what Russians thought about Putin.
I asked my other son when I saw him last week. My question was is Putin as popular in Russia as the polls suggest.
His reply was along the lines that the only reason Putin had such popularity was because the likely replacements were a whole lot worse.

Question: Why will there never be a coup d’état in Washington? :?:

Answer: Because there’s no American embassy there.

Well, well, well .......so it is wrong for one country to interfere in another countries politics? Seriously? Well.... that IS a revelation! So, let’s look at the US’s predisposition for interfering in other countries politics, shall we?

It is America's right to defend itself and its democratic process
.

Does that just apply to the US/NATO countries or can anybody join in? Didn’t work too well for those on the above US hit list .... did it?

There really is no other option
.

True, to a point. It is just that the Russians are more grown up than the Yanks. Notice how there have been no threats from Putin apart from giving due notice that there will be repercussions! Putin will just act ..... maybe later he will explain!

Being a genuine democracy (unlike Russia) you are also prone to attack.

I don’t think you can call the US a true democracy? As you keep telling us, the Deep State runs the US pantomime and how did they achieve that? Through democratic means? Don’t think so ..... they are the US Ruling Elite, like The Wall Street Bankers and the CEO’s of the major industrial conglomerates and are simply an extension of the same Elite in the UK that have had centuries of practice at it.

there will not be any working together with pootin by Trump. Not when he sees the intelligence the CIA has gathered. And the USA will not abandon its allies either because that would be like cutting its own nose off and shooting itself in the foot.

Trump will have no option but to work with Putin. That is just it .....THERE IS NO INTELLIGENCE ! Just like all the other accusations the US throws around, it is all suggestions and probabilities, NEVER do they provide any proof ..... just like you and all your claims!

The Democrats and The Clintons in particular, are just very bad losers. The US will do what suits The US ....... surely you haven’t forgotten Donald’s rhetoric already? America First .......... make America great again ...... I don’t recall him calling out Australia for special mention ........ not like he did Putin ........ he WANTS the US and Russia to work together! His words ..... not mine!

What it comes down to is that US foreign policy over the years since the end of WWII, has been pretty much a disaster .............. for millions of people!!! :x

BTW: I just heard on the BBC, that Russian authorities have told The American School in Moscow to close.

Sorry .... the last sentence was apparently not true. That will teach me not to take the BBC too seriously!

Now this is the response of a true World Leader and with a graciously diplomatic reply!

Master Judoka Putin "The Gracious" Outclasses "Lame Duck" Obama

....... showing real greatness is not about hitting back in kind. The Russian President Putin (again) outclassed Obama with this response:

Putin decides not to expel US diplomats from Russia

MOSCOW, December 30. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a decision not to expel any US diplomats from Russia in retaliation for Washington’s latest sanctions against Moscow.

Putin also said that Russia would not prevent the families and children (of diplomats) from using the customary rest and leisure facilities and sites during the New Year holidays.

"Moreover, I am inviting all children of US diplomats accredited in Russia to the New Year and Christmas parties in the Kremlin", Putin said.

The Russian compounds in Maryland and New York Obama closed are used for vacations of Russian kids in the U.S.
Putin's counter is using his opponent's moment of inertia to bring him to fall. A classic judoka move by a high master of the art.

"We reserve the right to take retaliatory measures but we will not stoop to the level of the so-called kitchen diplomacy, so we will take further steps to restore Russia-US relations taking into account the Trump administration’s policy," Putin said.
