now this makes a very interesting comparisson to what is happening today. this was not that long ago but it seems easily forgotten.

...if i am not mistaken, you are referring to the Jews, when they were refugees, refused entry to the USA, and Canada, because they were Jews.

Canada has learned from it, the USA, at least some, forget.

I believe it's the Viora, which was forced to transport thousands of people to Italy when the Albanian regime collapsed back in the early 90s.

IIRC virtually all of them were subsequently shipped/flown back to whence they came.

Another Socialist paradise had fallen.

Subsequently, some of the natives have risen to the dizzy heights of running the largest and most successful organised crime setup on the planet.
