Erdogan got so little from his trip to Washington; it is said that this was Trump's shortest visit with a Head of State.

...and yet he still managed to make headline news.

Beside the rioting in front of the Embassy, it is this inquiry into Flynn's private dealings, what seemed small with Russia looms ten times greater with Turkey.

...and the Kurds, they are sharing this spotlight, in Syria, by his own doing. While he may share in this desire for a new Turkey, now that the old Turkey is gone, what that is remains unclear to those like the Turks who are Kurdish (or the Alevi) who are Turks, but not "Turkish", in Erdogan's Turkey. However until the next election, it is a long time in political terms from now. If the world is dealing with a Criminal Psychopath, with this exposure he may loose all self control, and War.

Cyprus, is all he, Erdogan, has left. A Cyprus Cypriots live in, he needs. Recognising a Cyprus, like that, is his ticket to a Turkey, Turks will live in, "Turkish" or Turkish, peacefully.

...he left America, lucky not to have been arrested. He got what he paid for, arms. But he cannot escape these personal escapades the third time around, unpaid; not with what is exposed about his 'deep state' (read: America's deep state).

...for the Turks, or the "Turks", for Turkey, his intention is to leave a Legacy. Timing is everything, July is soon. He must (read: will) change, at least to make nice somehow, with the International Community; in Cyprus, he is the "but one".

Deals, and discussions under the table won't end soon, Trump or no Trump, America the People, want fair; no "deals" on Freedom, or Liberty, especially theirs'.

...and it won't go away because it represents the tip of the iceberg that floats in the swamp Trump is swimming in.

Crackdown in Turkey felt in Capital Region

http://www.timesunion.com/local/article ... 230997.php

There was an awkward silence at the end of Thursday's dinner. It felt like a wake. It brought to mind the words of another philosopher, Prince, who sang: "This is what it sounds like when doves cry."

...men and women who celebrate their distinctions as a culture, from fear have closed their doors.

It is but a ripple in a pond where stones are thrown thousands of miles away.

...even in America.
