Lincoln vs. AEK 1-1 FT

A very poor performance by our team... seemed like a fixed-up match.

My prediction: 3-0

APOEL has recently bought and sold so many key players including a change of manager, that nobody really knows what to expect from this almost completely new team again, so forget everything you saw a few months ago when APOEL played Olympiacos, Young Boys, Astana, Athletic Bilbao, and Anderlecht.

It’s all out the window again because this stupid team can never settle down with anyone. I suspect it must be some sort of stupid tactic from high above to keep the overheads down even at the great risk of losing everything.

Even the Carlao transfer has turned into a debacle with him moving to an Italian club and then back for no reason at all! :?

I guess Dudelange are the lucky ones from all this because had they been playing the APOEL from 2-3 months ago it would probably be a 5-0 thrashing but now… I have no idea!

For its "CL preparation" APOEL played some utterly useless friendly matches against mediocre opponents (the first 3 I've never even heard of before) including:

24/06/17 Arka Gdynia 1-1 APOEL (Poland?)
27/06/17 Sandecja Nowy Sacz 3-3 APOEL (Poland?)

29/06/17 APOEL 3-1 Spartaks Jurmala (from some other planet?)
05/07/17 APOEL 1-0 Panionios

Maybe next time they should save their travel money and just practise against the primary school girls next door.

My prediction: God knows... :?

Cork City (ROI) vs AEK Larnaca (tomorrow night)

Some people (mostly Brits) think that Cork City is hot shit because they are unbeaten in their league for 20 odd consecutive matches, but what they ignore is the fact that the Cypriot league ranks 19th/55 while the Irish league ranks 41st/55!

My suggestion: Away DNB

Bye-bye Cork…
