I think I could live without meat, excluding chicken, however (I eat chicken in spite of bird flu)
Latelly I became more attracted to fish and sea food and vegetables (but not all).

I think chicken is in category of ducks, geese, turkeys - birds
And meat is lamb, pork, beef etc
We could say that fish is also meat since it is flesh

How about BBC as a source of information?

Scientists at the Dunn Human Nutrition Unit and the Open University compared a red meat diet and a vegetarian diet.

Their study, published in Cancer Research, found the red meat diet was associated with a higher level of damage to the body's DNA.

Previous work suggests regular meat eaters are significantly more likely to develop bowel cancer.

Last year the Dunn team published a study suggesting the chance of developing the disease was a third higher for people who regularly ate more than two portions per day of red meat compared with those who ate less than one portion per week.

watch the bloody documentary, your grandkids will thank you for healthier DNA

I can never understand is it out of ignorance, the parents take their childern to McDonalds, or is it because the kids whine too much that they want it and it's easier to take them so they shut up?

There are days when meat just smells foul to me but other days when I crave a nice juicy steak
I believe everything should be eaten in moderation and we shouldnt be too stressed about what we should eat or what we shouldnt eat

I try to buy organic meat anyway - not sure if thats better but it sure is tastier!!!
